Head Coach Jonathon Tinsley’s eighth grade boys’ basketball team at Dawson County Middle School fell to 0-3 on the season with a 42-31 loss to Fannin County Nov. 15.

 

“We played a lot better,” Tinsley said.

 

Dawson held a slim 11-8 lead after one quarter of play.

 

The Tigers increased the lead to 21-15 at halftime.

 

The Tigers let the lead slip away in the second half after managing only 10 points, while Fannin scored 27 points.

 

JT Eggert led all Tiger scorers with 11 points. Also scoring in double digits was Jackson Morgan with 10 points. Logan Crumley and Taylor Gaddis each added five points in the loss.
