As school buses disappear from local neighborhoods early in the morning, that can only mean one thing: school is out for summer.
But if your child loves being outside and isn’t sure on how to spend the months off in Dawson County, look no further than the numerous sports camps going on through the Dawson County Parks and Recreation Department.
Here are the June sports camps happening in Dawson County:

This camp for kids age 5 to 13 will last from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in two separate weeks throughout the summer. Each day will focus on a different sport at an introductory level. Campers will learn valuable skills like teamwork, sportsmanship and how to stretch.
