Senior Lady Tiger soccer player Lindsey Vinson was named second team All-Area by the Gainesville Times last week. Vinson recorded seven shutouts, five in area play, from her goalie position for Dawson County Head Coach Rick Corwin.

Vinson will continue her soccer career next season as she will play for St. Catharine’s College in Kentucky.

All-Area player of the year was Hong Tran from Gainesville High School.

The junior goalkeeper allowed just 13 goals in 15 games, tallying seven shutouts.
