Track teams see record-setting performance

It was a record-breaking afternoon for Dawson County junior Ethan Cameron, who set a new school record in the triple jump (42’5”), before joining up with teammates Cooper Freeman, Sean Thomas and Noah Brock to set another school record in the 4x100-meter relay (44.49 seconds) on April 12 in a tri-match with East Hall and North Hall at Tiger Stadium. The Tigers won the tri-match 129-48-6 over North Hall and East Hall respectively to finish the season a perfect 12-0 heading into the Region 7-AAA meet. Cameron also won the 110-meter high hurdles, while Brock won the 100-meter dash, Thomas won the 200-meter dash and Freeman won the pole vault competition.
