The Lady Tigers ended the shortened mercy-rule game with no hits on offense. Olivia Martinez was the starting pitcher for the Lady Tigers, throwing a shutout inning in the bottom of the first and allowed only two runs in the second innings and two runs in the third.

In their previous matchup, the Broncos won 4-2 in a close, seven inning battle.

The Lady Tigers return to action Friday, Sept. 3 when they travel to White County High School. The two teams have yet to face each other this season. The game starts at 4 p.m.
