The Dawson County High School varsity girls' basketball team remains undefeated following a big 61-12 win over Social Circle Nov. 26.

The Lady Tigers were playing in the Walnut Grove Thanksgiving Shootout Tournament outside Loganville.

Social Circle (0-4) in Region 8-AA were outmatched by Dawson County. Dawson Head Coach Steve Sweat's team's defense shut down the Lady Redskins' offense, allowing them just six points in each half.

Dawson County held a 32-6 halftime lead and never looked back.

Ten different Lady Tigers scored in the contest, led by Sheyenne Seabolt with 19 points. Ashley Parker also had a great game with 13 points.

The Lady Tigers will be back in action at 7 p.m. Dec. 6 at Banks County. The team will then travel to Pickens County for a 6 p.m. tip-off on Dec. 10.

Lady Tigers scoring: Seabolt - 19 points; Parker - 13 points; Tabitha Morrison and Ansley Costley scored six points each; Jordan Moore and Karlie Bearden - five points each; Alison Honea - three points; Brooke Wende - two points and Peytan Porter and Haley Burgess contributed one point each.
