Freshman boys continue winning with game against Pickens

The Dawson County High School freshman boys' basketball team continued its winning ways with a 30-22 win over Pickens County High School Dec. 13 in Dawsonville.

With the victory, the Tigers are undefeated with a perfect 3-0 record on the season.

Saturday's game was close throughout, but Dawson County used a 10-3 fourth quarter offensive spurt to take the win.

Six different Tigers entered the scoring column. The team was led by Wyatt Haase with nine points.

He was followed by teammates Kyle Phillips and Ethan Clark with eight points each, Drew Albert and Kane Pelfry added two points apiece, and Nathan Sorrells closed out the scoring with a single point.

The team will play host to Banks County tomorrow.
