Golf tournament at Chestatee to aid breast cancer cause

Chestatee Golf Club will host the inaugural Circle of Friends Golf Charity Tournament on June 8 with a 10 a.m. shotgun start.

  

The tournament is in conjunction with the Atlanta 2-day Breast Cancer Walk.

The format for the event will be an 18-hole scramble.

  

The 4-person scramble will include a light breakfast and a box lunch after completion of the round.

  

There will be awards for the first and second place team.

  

There will also be a prize in the closest to pin of the par 3 holes.

  

The $130 entry fee per person will include three mulligans per person, a red tee drive, a one “string shot” per team, putting contest entry, and a par 3 contest.

  

Included with the entry fee will be a $20 PGA Superstore gift card, 45 minute PGA practice bay certificate, gift bag, door prize and a chance for a $1,000 hole-in-one contest.
