Dawson County Middle School coach Tina Brown directed the annual Lady Tiger Fun-damental Camp last week at Rock Creek Park's gymnasium. Helping teach basketball fundamentals and skills were coaches Frank Brown, Steve Sweat, Tonya Porter and Steven Moates.
Forty-four girls attended the camp that placed an emphasis on learning different aspects of basketball, mainly fundamentals. Dribbling, passing, free throws and shooting were some of the concepts worked on during the week.

"It was a great week with a lot of very eager young basketball players," Brown said.

Campers Avery Massey and Karlie Bearden won the Hot Shot contest. Winning the free throw contest were Belle Tinsley and Peytan Porter.

Capturing a trophy in the one-on-one event were Chloe Bennett and Emma Brown.

Best Camper awards went to Samantha Hafermalz and Carley Burt.
