Winnie C. Smith, 75, of Dawsonville, died Oct. 13, 2017. Born Aug.18, 1942 to the late Joseph T. and Lourain L. Chumley, she was a lifelong resident of Dawson County. Winnie was formerly employed at Sweet-Orr and Hasco, after which she worked for the Dawson County School System for almost 20 years until her retirement. She enjoyed flowers, gardening and was of the Baptist faith.
