Willie Bolden Mathis, 96, a lifelong resident of Forsyth County, died Sept. 14, 2013.

She was a member of Haw Creek Baptist Church.

Her first husband, John Edd Bolden; second husband, Jewell Mathis; sons, James Bolden, Johnny Bolden; grandson, Paul Wilkins; and parents, Will and Pearl Mayhue, preceded her in death.

Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Gwendolyn and John Wilkins of Canton; son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Barbara Bolden of Cumming; daughter-in-law, Donna Bolden of Cumming; four stepchildren; sister, Lou Ella Popham of Cumming; brother, J.C. Mayhue of Flowery Branch; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sept. 16 at Haw Creek Baptist Church with the Revs. Horace Richards, Nathan Martin and Larry Vaughan officiating. Interment followed in Haw Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

Ingram Funeral Home of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
