William White, 69, of Dawsonville, died Feb. 8, 2017.

Born Nov. 21, 1947 to the late Willie A. and Emma White, he lived most of his life in Dawson County.

White retired from Coca Cola after 45 years of service after which he did landscaping.

A devoted husband, father and grandfather, he enjoyed spending his time helping others.

William was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Ann Massey; sister, Verleen Enlow; and brothers, Erskin Allen and Loyd Allen.

Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Rebecca White of Dawsonville; sons and daughter-in-law, Doug White of Dawsonville, David and Angel Bryant of Dawsonville; grandchildren, Taylor Ann White, William Logan White, Jonathan Bryant, C.J. Massey; sisters, Ruthnell, Betty, Linda Gail, Barbara, Jackie; brothers, Homer, Georgia, Arthur; and various other relatives also survive.

The family received friends Feb. 10 from 4 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Bearden Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
