William Lee, 11, of Dawsonville, died Dec. 2, 2015.

Born Oct. 7, 2004, he was a lifelong resident of Dawson County. William was a fourth grade student at Riverview Elementary School.

He enjoyed westerns, football, basketball, deer hunting and ketchup.

William was a special child and was loved by all who knew him.

Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Joann Lee and Daniel Rider of Dawsonville; sisters, Marisa Lee of Blairsville, Cheyenne Rider of Dahlonega; brothers, Jacob Lee of Blairsville, Anthony Lee, Jaylen Mitchell, both of Dawsonville, Austin Rider of Dahlonega; grandmother, Susie Morgan of Dawsonville; great-grandfather, Euell Mooney of Dawsonville; grandparents, Harold and Lisa Rider of Dawsonville; uncle, Burdett Morgan of Dawsonville; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Dec. 6 in the Bearden Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Scott Sorrels and Sam Nissen officiating. Interment followed in the Mill Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requested that donations be made to assist with final expenses.

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
