William J. Jackson, 79, of Dawsonville, died Sunday, Feb. 8, 2009.

Survivors include his wife Kathryn Jackson of Dawsonville; sons and daughter-in-law, Paul and Judy Jackson of Dawsonville, Lamar Jackson of Dahlonega; daughters, Judy Jackson of Woodstock, Diane Hunter of Cumming; stepson and daughter-in-law, Randy and Beverly McGinnis of Dawsonville; 17 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Gene and Nancy Jackson of Cumming; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 10 at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Robert W. Sims officiating.

Interment followed in Green Lawn Cemetery in Roswell.

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
