William Henry (Bill) Mashburn

William Henry (Bill) Mashburn, 76, of Forsyth County died Nov. 5, 2008.

  

He was the son of the late Otis and Ruby Crowe Mashburn. He was a member of Ebenezer Methodist Church in Forsyth County.

  

Mr. Mashburn was a graduate of Chestatee High School in Forsyth County, served in the U.S. Air Force, made a career at General Motors in Doraville and operated a boat storage business with sons Paul and Mark Mashburn.

  

Survivors include his beloved wife Gladys Hicks Mashburn; daughter and son-in-law, Vicki and Jimmy Benson; son, Marcus Mashburn; son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Missy Mashburn; stepdaughters, Carolyn and Berry Satterfield and their son Cole, Sarah and Bengie Cagle and their daughters, Chelsea and Madeline; granddaughters, Elizabeth Benson, Ashley Mashburn; grandson, Will Mashburn; sister, Mary Marcile Mashburn; niece, Dixie Petree; nephews, Michael and Randy Petree; various other relatives also survive.

  

Funeral services were Friday, Nov. 7 at 2 p.m. at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Danny Hyatt officiating.

  

Interment followed in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens.

  Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
