William Edward Gordon III, 38, of Dawsonville, died July 1, 2016.

He was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church in Dawsonville.

Survivors include his wife, Marian Gordon of Dawsonville; parents, William and Patricia Gordon of Cumming; children, William Gordon IV, Elizabeth Gordon, John Gordon, Benjamin Gordon, Joshua Gordon, all of Dawsonville; brother, Stephen Gordon of Canton, Daniel Gordon of Smyrna; grandmother, Mollie Gordon; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. July 6 at Lighthouse Baptist Church with the Dr. Charles Blackstock officiating. Interment followed in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, donations were requested made to Christian Media International or Lighthouse Baptist Church, 329 Harmony Church Rd., Dawsonville, GA 30534.

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
