William "Bill" Asbury Styles, 87, of Dawsonville, died March 24, 2019.
He was born to the late James Otis and Cleo Styles. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War as a mechanic on the B-29 Bomber. He was a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church in Dahlonega. Bill was an over the road trucker hauling cars for Ford Motor Company for more than 40 years before retiring.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jo Styles; brothers, James Styles and Nathan Styles.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Ken and Ann Styles of Lawrenceville; grandchildren, Michael Boyd, Hannah Styles, Robert Styles, Emily Styles; various other relatives also survive.
A funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. March 29 at Bearden Funeral Home in Dawsonville, with the Revs. Phil DeMore and C. R. Hill officiating. Interment will be held at 11:30 a.m. April 2 at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton with Military Honors.
The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. March 29 at Bearden Funeral Home.
