Warren K. Dub Evans

Warren K. "Dub" Evans, 77, of Dawsonville, died Dec. 27, 2012.

Born Sept. 30, 1935, to the late Arthur and Daisy Evans, he lived his life in Dawson County except for a short period in which he lived in Atlanta.

Mr. Evans was a former night manager of Krispy Kreme on Ponce de Leon.

His sons, Warren K. Evans Jr., Timothy Warren Evans; sister, Pauline Bailey; and brothers, Louie Evans and Randolph "Randy" Evans, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his children, Connie Magurder, Glenda Evans, Debbie Evans, Tony Evans, Cathy Evans; stepchildren, Wanda Holcombe, Marilyn Emmett, Tish Frank; sisters, Rowena Wehunt, Shirley Manders, Mandeline Wehunt; brothers, Donald Evans, Gene Evans; 15 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Dec. 30 in the Bearden Funeral Home Chapel.

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
