Walton Robert Green Jr., 76, of Cumming, died April 17, 2011.

He was a lifelong resident of the area and attended Hopewell Baptist Church.

His wife, Betty Wheeler Green; son, Walton Rickey Green; parents, Walton Robert Green Sr. and Mary Green; granddaughter, Golden Danielle Green; brothers, Gene Green and Eddie Joe Green, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Marzia and Ronald Curtis of Canton; stepson and daughter-in-law, Danny and Sheila Wheeler; stepdaughter, Joan Anglin; brother and sister-in-law, Loy and Gwenn Green of Milton, Lamar and Glenda Green of Cumming; sister and brother-in-law, Ferral and Earl Hines of Mableton; grandchildren, Blake Curtis, Chase Curtis, Katie Green Wilson, all of Canton; great-grandchildren, Ashley Crims, Katelynn Wilson; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. April 19 at the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with the Revs. Clyde Boling and Johnny Purcell officiating. Interment followed in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens.

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
