Vivian Henderson Martin, 75, of Cumming, died April 21, 2015.

Born May 12, 1939, to the late Tommy and Belle Henderson, she was a lifelong resident of Cumming.

She spent many years working at Fireman's Fund Insurance Company.

She also worked at the Forsyth County Public Library in Cumming and was owner of Cumming Flowers and Gifts.

In addition to her parents, her husband, Donald W. Martin; parents, Tommy and Belle Henderson; brothers, Hugh Henderson, Danny Henderson, Kimmy Henderson; and sisters, Barbara Sargent and Brenda Woodham, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her children, Timothy Martin of St. Petersburg, Fla, Scarlett Sams of Cumming; grandchildren, Trevor Sams and Gracie Sams; brothers, Larry and Joy Henderson, Roger Henderson; sisters, Betty Forbush, Vee Stickel; sisters-in-law, Janice Henderson, Joan Henderson, Mary Henderson; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. April 24 at Coal Mountain Baptist Church. Interment followed at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens in Cumming.

McDonald and Son Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
