Virginia Phagan Holbrook, 81, of Cumming, died Sept. 10, 2011.

She was a member of First Baptist Church of Cumming.

She retired from Southern Bell with 34 years of service.

Her husband, Junior Holbrook; granddaughter, Kristi Holbrook; and brother, Billy Phagan, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her children, Phil and Kathy Holbrook, Greg and Debbie Holbrook, all of Forsyth County; grandchildren, Jeffery and Michelle Hammond, Amy and Jason DeBaker, Justin Wheeler; great-grandchildren, Matthew and Jessie Hammond, Cole DeBaker; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Sept. 13 at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Danny Bennett and Gerald Blackburn officiating. Interment followed in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens.

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
