Virginia Patterson Paxton, 82, of Cumming, died Saturday, May 2, 2009.

Her husband, Maurice McDowell Paxton; and a daughter, Jan Paxton Boehm, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Ted and Judie Paxton of Cumming; grandchildren, Christopher Paxton, Leslie Paxton, Lorie and Jeff Moran, all of Cumming, Jason Paxton of Apex, N.C., Todd and Tina Cox of Texas; great-grandchildren, Briana, Kaitlyn and Ethan Paxton, Sean and Emily Moran, Taylor and Tyler Cox; sister, Evelyn Kinsey; brother and sister-in-law, Heyward and Fern Patterson; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, May 4 at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. John Cromartie officiating.

Interment followed in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens.

Ingram Funeral Home & Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
