Vicky Lynn Duran, 53, of Cumming, died June 23, 2017.

A loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Vicky put her family first and was a God-fearing woman, whose testimony touched thousands.

She loved everyone and never met a stranger.

A highlight of Vicky's life was becoming a grandmother and her time spent working as catering manager with Chick-fil-A.

Her parents, Jack and Barbara Evans; and her two brothers, Jacky Evans and John Evans, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband of 29 years, Allen Duran; son and daughter-in-law, the Rev. Andrew and Whitney Duran; son, Marcus Duran; granddaughter, Austyn Duran; sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Jerry Mitchell; brother and sister-in-law, Tommy and Tammy Evans; father and mother-in-law, Thurman and Amelia Duran; sister and brother-in-law, George and Becky Hermann; various other relatives, and her Chick-fil-A family, survive.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. June 25 at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church with the Revs. Andrew Duran, Jack Pilcher and Vernie Worley officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
