Tristan Keown, 14, of Cleveland, Ga., died May 21, 2010.

  

Born Oct. 16, 1995, Tristan lived in Dawsonville most of his life, but had resided in Cleveland for the past year.

  

He was an avid hunter and had shot a prize 8-point deer last season.

  

Very outgoing and loved by everyone, he was known for his smile.

  

His grandfathers, Herschel Keown, Kenneth Manning and J.B. Allison, preceded him in death.

  

Survivors include his parents, Shane and Betty Keown of Cleveland, Tammy Keown of Dawsonville; sisters, Keshia and Chloe, both of Dawsonville; grandmothers, Doris Pruitt of Jasper, Peggy Manning of Dawsonville, Patsy Head of Cleveland; special friends, Corey, Joel, Veronica, Virginia and Leah; various other relatives also survive.

  

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. May 25 at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tim Collett and Pastor Gary Keown officiating. Interment followed at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens.

  

In lieu of flowers, the family requested donations be made to offset final expenses.

  

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
