Travis R. Puckett, 63, of Dawsonville and formerly of Buford, died Saturday, May 16, 2009.

  

Born July 29, 1945 in Hall County, he received his education from North Gwinnett High School in Suwanee.

  

He was an auto repairman. He was of the Baptist faith.

  

His parents, Luther and Josephine Roberts Puckett, preceded him in death.

  

Survivors include his former wife, Linda G. Puckett of Dawsonville; daughters and sons-in-law, Angie and Phil King, Donna Puckett, all of Dawsonville, Pam and Donnie Wehunt of Carnesville, Kim and Butler Brown of Cartersville; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Thelma Loggins of Sugar Hill, Laverne Puckett of Mt. View, Calif.; brothers, Truman Puckett, Kenneth Puckett, both of Georgetown, Tenn.; uncles and aunt, Hoyt and Betty Puckett of Buford, Waymon Roberts of Sugar Hill; various other relatives also survive.

  

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 19 in the Chapel of Flanigan

  

Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Waddell officiating.

  

Interment followed at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery in Buford, Hall County.

  

Flanigan Funeral Home and Crematory of Buford was in charge of the arrangements.
