Theodore Joseph Ted Fedoruk

Theodore Joseph "Ted" Fedoruk, 92, of Peachtree City, died March 11, 2015.

The second of three children, he was born in Montreal, Canada, June 8, 1922.

He was the son of Vladimir "Walter" Fedoruk and Laurea Guerard.

He graduated from Cass Technical School, Class of 1940 in Detroit, Michigan.

He would often take his children and grandchildren to see the Detroit home teams.

Ted and his wife relocated to Georgia in 1994 for a warmer climate.

His sister, Helene Phifer, of Colorado Springs, Colo., also preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife of 70 years, Florence Margaret "Marge" Fedoruk; brother, Robert and Gloria Fedoruk of Franklin, Tenn.; four children, Richard and Sharon Fedoruk of Berrien Springs, Mich., Michael and Annie Fedoruk of St. Clair, Mich., Dennis and Stephanie Fedoruk of Dawsonville, Debbie and Michael Britt of Peachtree City; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; various other relatives also survive.

A celebration of life was held at 4 p.m. March 15 in the chapel of Mowell Funeral Home in Peachtree City.

Carl J. Mowell and Son Funeral Home of Peachtree City was in charge of the arrangements.
