Terrell H. Higgins, 82, a native of Forsyth County, died Oct. 29, 2013.

He was a loving husband, father and very special Pappy.

He was a member of Cross Roads Baptist Church.

His parents, Wesley and Belle Higgins; sisters, Grace Warren, Pauline "Polly" Higgins; sister, Kathleen Samples; sister, Sylvia Bennett; and brother, Veston Higgins, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Ruby Higgins; children, Darlene and Wes Mitchell, Anita and Eddie Floyd, Steve and Gina Higgins, Cheryl and Mike Mertz, Phil and Janet Higgins; grandchildren, Hali and Chelsea Floyd, Wesley and Brooke Mitchell, Katie, Jessica and Sara Higgins, Hillery and David Maradiaga, Anna and Madison Mertz, Caroline Charleigh and Caitlyn Higgins; great-grandchildren, Christian and Kyrie Maradiaga; family friend, Jay Tinter; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Nov. 1 at Cross Roads Baptist Church with the Revs. Brody Hughes, Gerald Blackburn and Craig Richard officiating. Interment followed in Cross Roads Baptist Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations were requested made to Halcyon Hospice, 1435 Haw Creek Circle, Suite 402, Cumming, GA 30041.

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
