Teresa Johnston, 66, of Dawsonville, died June 14, 2017.

Born June 13, 1951 in Knoxville, Tenn., to the late Michael and Helen Harrell Rongo, she lived many years in Smyrna and Sandy Springs before moving to Dawson County 16 years ago.

Mrs. Johnston formerly owned Travel Management, Inc., Designer Resources International and Gotta Eat!, a food service company.

She was a member of the Church of the Apostles and was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Charles M. "Charlie" Johnston.

Survivors include her sister and brother-in-law, Toni and Lee Winters of Atlanta; brother and sister-in-law, Dennis and Deborah Rongo of Knoxville, Tenn.; various other relatives also survive.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. June 24 at the Church of the Apostles in Dawsonville with the Rev. J.P. Morris officiating.

There will be a reception following the memorial service at the church.
