Talmadge Wesley Bolton, 81, of Cumming, died April 20, 2015.

He was a member of Coal Mountain Baptist Church since 1945.

He was owner of Bolton's Garage from 1949, when he was 15 years old, until it closed in 1980.

He was president and CEO of Bolton's Truck Parts Inc., from 1978 until it closed in 2012.

He was on the board of the Forsyth County Department of Family and Children's Services, for which he took pride in for 35 years.

He was also on the Forsyth County Zoning Board two different terms, the Forsyth County Hospital Board for 10 years and on the board of Citizens Bank for 12 years.

He went on numerous mission trips to Jamaica, including a trip to San Blas Island in Central America with the Rev. Tom Hammond.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Eulene Bolton; parents, Egbert and Alma Bolton; brothers, Billy, James and Bobby Bolton; and a sister, Ruby Mae Hamby.

Survivors include his daughters, Nancy and Wayne Martin, Vicki and Jackie Bennett, all of Cumming; granddaughters, Brandy and Chaplain Russ Woody of Ft. Campbell, Ky., Michelle and Don Lindsey of Cumming; grandsons, Warrant Officer Travis and Robin Martin of Ft. Rucker, Ala., Chad Bennett of Cumming; great-grandsons, Elijah, Tal, Bobby and Judah Woody, Samuel, Simon and Luke Martin, Callahan Bennett; great-granddaughters, Mary Jane, Patricia and Abigail Woody, Lucy Martin, Kaylin Lindsey; sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty Glover, Sara and Bob Cloud, Manyard Hamby; sister-in-law and brothers-in-law, Jimmie and Michael Hughes and Len Hubbard; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. April 23 at Coal Mountain Baptist Church with the Revs. Danny Bennett, Jerry Orr and Robert Martin officiating. Interment will follow in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the hour of service April 22 at the funeral home.
