Steven Eugene Ogburn, 55, of Dawsonville, died Sunday, June 15, 2008 at the Chestatee Regional Hospital in Dahlonega following a lengthy battle with heart disease.

Steve was a native of Denver, Colo., who had lived in Georgia for the past 22 years, 14 in Stone Mountain and eight in Dawsonville/Dahlonega area.

Survivors include his wife, Susan Ogburn; son, Steven Paul Ogburn; grandson, Tyler; granddaughter, Lindsay; mother, Dorothy Campbell in Lakewood, Colo.; sister, Roberta Washburn and her husband, Monty of Elizabethtown, Colo.; sister, Linda Ball and her husband, Gary of Denver, Colo.; various other relatives also survive.

A memorial service was held Friday, June 20 at noon at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega.

In lieu of flowers the family requested donations be made in SteveÕs name to the American Heart Association.

Banister Funeral Home of Dahlonega was in charge of the arrangements.
