Stella Louise Pitts, 70, a native of Forsyth County, died July 11, 2012.

Her parents, Joe and Essie Chadwick; daughter, Hilda Mae Hammond; brothers, William Chadwick, Hubert Chadwick, James Chadwick and Jerry Chadwick, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Carl Pitts of Cumming; children, Wayne Hammond, Rhonda Morris, Kristy and Austin Williams, all of Cumming; grandchildren, Aylessa Morris, Emanuel Morris, both of Cumming; brother, Homer Chadwick of Dahlonega; sisters and brother-in-law, Mary Frances (Patsy) Chadwick, Barbara Adams, Betty and Danny Hester, all of Cumming; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. July 16 in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with the Rev. David Coombs officiating. Interment followed at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens.

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
