Stella Betty Longenetta

Stella Betty Longenetta, 85, of Cumming and a longtime resident of Alliance, Ohio, died Jan. 5, 2011.

 

Born in Salem, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late John and Eva Pascola.

 

Stella worked as a potter at Royal China for many years. She was a member of Longstreet Baptist Church and volunteered at The Place - both in Cumming.

 

Survivors include her loving companion, Joseph Kurpil of Cumming; daughter, Patricia Blake of Cumming; grandsons, Jerry (Sherrie) Blake of Dawsonville, Melvin (Robyn) Blake of Alliance, Ohio; six great-grandchildren; various other relatives also survive.

 

Funeral services were held at 6 p.m. Jan. 7 in the chapel of McDonald and Son Funeral Home and Crematory with the Revs. Pete Martin and Terry Caylor officiating.

 

In lieu of flowers, donations were requested made to Longstreet Baptist Church or The Place.

 

McDonald and Son Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
