Sonya Kendrick, 55, of Dawsonville, died Dec. 18, 2014.

Born Dec. 29, 1958, in Atlanta, she had lived in Dawson County for more than 40 years.

Her brother, Dale Styles, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Lacey and Michael Henderson of Dawsonville; parents, Hobert and Rose Styles of Dawsonville; brother and sister-in-law, Ray and Cis Styles of Dawsonville; grandchildren, Breanna Elliott, Allison Elliott, Savannah Ingram, Lance Christy, Brent Henderson, Kyle Henderson; various other relatives also survive.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Dec. 29 at Sweetwater Baptist Church with the Rev. William Blackwell officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, Tenn., 38105.

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville is in charge of the arrangements.
