Obituaries

Shelia Clark, 60, of Cumming, passed away on Sunday, May 2, 2021. 

She was born in 1961, to the late Ralph and Betty Jean Thompson. 

She was a member of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church in Cumming. 

Shelia was employed with the Forsyth County Planning and Zoning Department for 20 years. 

She loved her horses and dogs. She enjoyed photography, crafts, fishing, cooking and going to camp meetings. 

She loved her family and church family. 

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Jason Thompson.

She is survived by her husband of 29 years, David Clark; sons and daughters-in-law, Dusty (Lorrie) Clark and David (Candi) Clark; sisters and brother-in-law, Sherrie (Lenn) Chadwick and Sharon Thompson; brothers and sisters-in-law, Roger Thompson (Karen Cates), Kenneth Thompson and Ronald (Elaine) Thompson; grandchildren, Elijah Clark, Wil Clark and Lily Clark; many nieces and nephews; along with many other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 6 in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming with the Revs. Dusty Holtzclaw, Garry English and Wilson Pruitt officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens in Cumming. The family will receive friends from 2 to 8 p.m. May 4 and 5 and from noon until the hour of service on Thursday, May 6 at the funeral home.
