Sharon F. Knight, 64, of Dahlonega, died Feb. 9, 2017.

Born May 23, 1952, she was a lifelong resident of Lumpkin County. Knight was a member of McKees Chapel United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Jack Knight of Dahlonega; children Ben and Kim Nix, Ginger and Joseph Sabater, all of Dahlonega; parents, Masteen and Murrell Bearden of Dahlonega; nine grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law, Nell and Terrell Holtzclaw, Pat Brackett, Charlotte and Mike Bryant, Nancy and Russ Cochran, all of Dahlonega; brother and sister-in-law, Ray and Nell Bearden; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held Feb. 12 at 2 p.m. at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Lyman Caldwell officiated. Interment followed in the New Hope Baptist Church cemetery.

The family received friends Feb. 11 from 2 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Bearden Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
