Scott Everett Kirby, 48, of Cumming, died June 11, 2014.
Scott was a devoted member and deacon of Pine Crest Baptist Church.
He was a board member of the Peach State Mounted Shooters. Scott loved the outdoors. He enjoyed camping, fishing and hunting with his family.
Most of all, Scott was a loving husband and father.
His grandfathers, Auton Kirby and Paul Moss, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Teresa Kirby of Cumming; children, Jonathan and Erin Kirby, Crysta Kirby and Hanna Kirby, all of Cumming; grandmothers, Ruth Kirby of Alpharetta, Jessie Moss of Cumming; father, Silvy (Hazel) Kirby of Cumming; mother, Donna (Bud) Cloud of Cumming; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Frank and Linda Cowart of Cumming; brother, Mark (Clarcy) Kirby of Cumming; sister and brother-in-law, Ronda and Butch Kirk of Cumming; nieces and nephew, Katherine and Alice Kirby, Jacob and Molly Kirk, various other relatives also survive.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. June 14 in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Craig Richard, Scott Sorrells, Tim Biddy and Neil Stewart officiating. Interment followed at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens.
Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
