Sarah Pearl Lathem, 83, of Cumming, died March 19, 2017.

She was a native of Dawsonville.

She was a loving caregiver to many and enjoyed flowers.

Her husband, Ralph Lathem; parents, Will and Leila Smith; daughter, Mildred Lathem; five brothers and three sisters, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her son, Randal and Beth Lathem of Dacula; daughters, Linda and Bobby Staton of Acworth, Teresa and Gip Miller of Cumming, Rhonda Bapue of Decatur; sister, Aldine Bruce of Morrow; brothers, Bill and Delores Smith, Mark and Barbara Smith, all of Cumming; grandchildren, Toni and Mike Messer of Lilburn, Terri Bagwell of Dahlonega, Josh and Beth Staton of Acworth, Jennifer Noonan of Dawsonville, Matt and Summer Lathem of Lawrenceville, Jessie Lathem of Dacula; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; various other relatives also survive.

Private services were held at Smith Cemetery in Lathemtown at a later date.

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
