Sally Myers, 55, of Dawsonville, died Feb. 13, 2016.

Born July 18, 1960, Sally was a longtime resident of Dawson County.

She had many friends in the community and had spent many years working at both Ingles and Kroger in Dawsonville.

She was extremely passionate about long walks at the beach, which led to a creative seashell collection hobby.

She enjoyed riding motorcycles, fishing and watching her favorite football team.

Sally loved more than anything hearing her two grandchildren, Jett and Riley, call her "Memaw."

Her son, Brett Myers, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Andy and Thalia Myers of Dawsonville; parents, Nancy and Paul Nichols of Dawsonville; brother and sister-in-law, Brad and Jan Nichols of Cumming; grandchildren, Riley Myers, Jett Myers, Craig Myers; various other relatives also survive.

Private memorial services will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to help offset final expenses.

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville is in charge of the arrangements.
