Ruth Inez Garrett, 90, died April 23, 2012.

She was a lifelong resident of Forsyth County and a member of Concord Baptist Church.

She had been a resident of Chestnut Ridge Nursing Facility for the past 16 years.

Her husband, Virgil Garrett; parents, Lee and Pearl Garrett Ingram; brother, Elson Ingram; sisters, Beatrice Ingram, Mae Ingram, Clara Cole and Alpha Hatton, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her sister and brother-in-law, Sue and Bill Magnus of Cumming; nephews, Billy (Julie) Magnus II of Buford, Jay (Amber) Hatton of Laurel, Mo., Jim Hatton, Jeff Hatton, both of Kentucky; nieces, Misty Wilson of Dawsonville, Joyce Hatton of Kentucky; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. April 25 in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with the Rev. Glenn Byrd officiating. Interment followed at Concord Baptist Church Cemetery in Silver City.

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
