Ruby G. Densmore, 89, of Gainesville, died Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2010.

Born May 5, 1920 in Dawson County to the late James and Ethel Mincey Gooch, she moved to Hall County over 20 years ago.

Mrs. Densmore was a homemaker and was also preceded in death by her husband, Carlton Densmore; sisters, Hazel Bredeen, Elizabeth Gamblin, Lavonia Densmore; and brothers, Garland Gooch and Guy Gooch.

Survivors include her children, Patricia Floyd of Gainesville, Danny and Sharon Densmore of Cleveland; sister and brother-in-law, Jewell and Howard Burt of Dawsonville; grandchildren, Sonya and Jason Chesser, Audrey and Scott Borchers, Ryan Densmore; great-grandchildren, Jenna Chesser, Josie Chesser, Cole Borchers, Kale Borchers; various other relatives also survive.

Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Feb. 19 at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery with Mr. Robert Johnson officiating.

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
