Ruby "Bobbie" Samples, 79, of Cumming, died Oct. 28, 2009.

  

Mrs. Samples was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church and she loved quilting and gardening.

  

Her husband of 53 years, Theadore Samples; and sons, the Rev. Wayne Samples and Ronald Samples preceded her in death.

  

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Tommy and Vickie Samples of Cumming; daughter and son-in-law, Sylvia and James Sewell of Cumming; daughter-in-law, Shelia Garrett of Cumming; grandchildren, Angela and Norman Treadaway of Jasper, Chase and Melanie Samples of Greenville, S.C., Trent Samples of Cumming; great-granddaughter, Hailey Treadaway of Jasper; sister, Bernice Tallant of Cumming; brothers and sisters-in-law, Perry and Stella Ray of Cumming, Brice and Judy Ray of Mountain Park; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Mildred Pirkle, Martha Sorrells and Eria and Wendell Thompson; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Eddie Gene and Mary Ann Samples, Charles and Melinda Samples, Roger and Doris Samples, Stephen and Betty Samples, all of Cumming, Leon Samples of Dahlonega; various other relatives also survive.

  

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 30 at Bethlehem Baptist Church with the Revs. Danny Orr, Vernie Worley and Larry Vaughan officiating.

  

Interment followed in Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery.

  

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
