Roy Marcus Kuykendall, 57, of Cumming, died Monday, April 6, 2009.

His father, William Oscar Kuykendall of Cherokee County; mother, Effie Mae Fowler of Knoxville, Tenn.; sisters, Mildred Barnett and Nora Garrett, preceded him in death.

Roy was a huge NASCAR fan and attended the Abundant Life Church.

Survivors include his former spouses, Linda Gail Lee and Georgia Gladiola Kuykendall; sons, Marcus Wayne and Becky Kuykendall, William Kuykendall, all of Cumming; brother, Larry Kuykendall of Flowery Branch; sisters, Joyce Sexton and Linda Garmon; four grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; niece, Tammy Gregory and family of Cumming; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Thursday, April 9 at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Ricky Fields and Ray Berry officiating.

Interment followed in Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery.

Ingram Funeral Home & Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
