Rowanda "Wanda" Rouse Pruitt, 82, of Dawsonville, died April 20, 2015.
Mrs. Pruitt was born April 2, 1933 to the late Luther and Mattie Rouse.
A resident of Dawsonville for the past 16 years, she spent most of her life in Doraville, where she raised her family.
For a number of years, she worked as a secretary for the Georgia Forestry Commission in Gainesville.
She enjoyed antiquing and flea marketing alongside her late husband, and at one time, she had her own booth at the Dixie 400 Flea Market in Forsyth County.
Her husband, Judge Rider; and husband, Eugene Pruitt, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her daughters and son-in-law, Norma Lee of Sugar Hill, Pam Smith, Gena and Bart Hail, all of Ball Ground; sisters and brothers-in-law, Louise Peterson of Etowah, Tenn., Charlotte Phillips, Marie and L.J. Justus, Dianne and Larry King, Lana Sue and Ronald McDonald of Dahlonega; brother, Guy Rouse of Dawsonville; grandchildren, Scott, Carey, Paxton, Paige; great-grandchildren, Camerin, Claire, Colben, Tristan, Chase, Karson; various other relatives also survive.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. April 22 in the Bearden Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Michael Rodgers officiating. The family will receive friends from noon until the hour of service April 22.
