Rosemarie Garrison, 61, of Dawsonville, died Nov. 2, 2010.

Born Oct. 6, 1949 in Stuttgart, Germany to the late Leo and Maria Lang, she had lived in Dawson County for the past 15 years, having moved from Roswell.

She was formerly employed at Wal-Mart in Alpharetta.

Rose was an avid reader and possessed a deep love and appreciation for music.

She was devoted to her cat, Jagger, and was a loving mother and grandma.

Her brother, Albin Lang, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Shawn Marie and James Shawn Jordan of Woodstock, Bianca Nicole and Tony Gattis of Clarksville, Tenn.; grandchildren, Leah Marie, Kayla Nicole and Aaron Garrison; various other relatives also survive.

At her request, Rose was cremated and private memorial services will be held.

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
