Ronald E. Adams, 74, of Royston, died Jan. 6, 2012.

Ronald liked to show horses and work on cars.

His parents, Robert and Hattie Adams; brothers, Lamar and Larry Adams; and a sister, Elizabeth Motes, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Gale Adams; children, Dennis and Wanda Adams, Darlene Adams, all of Cumming, Debbie and Terry Cranford, Donnie and Lynn Adams, Doyle and Melissa Dams, all of Dawsonville, Jason and Selena Whitmire of Royston, Angel and Jeff Selvey of Santa Rosa Beach, Fla.; sister, Betty Jo and Lonzo Mooney of Gainesville; 13 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Jan. 9 in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with the Revs. Ruel Martin, Ronnie Sosebee and Andy Huff officiating. Interment followed at Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
