Robert G. Stuck, 53, of Dawsonville, died Dec. 15, 2011.

Born May 1, 1958, in Canandaigua, N.Y., he grew up in Wolcott, N.Y. and had lived in Dawson County since 1984, having moved from Lumpkin County.

Robert was a driver for Mills Fuel Service for several years.

His mother, Frances Womer, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Cheryl Stuck of Dawsonville; son, Gabe Stuck of Dawsonville; father and stepmother, Dr. Robert G. and Kaye Stuck of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; sisters, Brenda Parker of Nashville, N.C., Sharon Mosser of Lubbock, Texas, Marty Vaughn of Rome, Ga., Nikki Nichols of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; brother, Jay Stuck of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; various other relatives also survive.

Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. Jan. 7, 2012 at the Bearden Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Corey Ray and Lyman Caldwell officiating.

The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
