Richard Emmitt Martin, 61, of Cumming, died Feb. 22, 2013.

He was a very loving husband, a wonderful daddy and papa.

His parents, Emmitt and Jean Martin, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Judy Bennett Martin; children, Neil and Lori Martin of Huntsville, Ala., Sandy and Eric Moore, Cindy and Stanley Shadburn, all of Cumming, Jessie and Casey Gravitt of Dawsonville; in-law, Gene and Judy Bennett, Cathy and Amos Fields, Sandra and Scotty Hames, all of Cumming; grandchildren, Jack, Margaret and Miley Martin, Wesley and Sam Moore, Emma, Veralee and Otis Shadburn, Case and McCoy Gravitt; his dog, Millie; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Feb. 24 in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Danny Bennett and Johnny Hanna officiating. Interment followed in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens.

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
