Richard Darnell, 48, of Cumming, died Monday, Aug. 31, 2009.

He was a member of Daves Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include his spouse, Cindy Darnell of Cumming; parents, Lewis and Hazel Darnell of Cumming; stepdaughter, Emily Rice of Dawsonville; brothers and sister-in-law, Dan Darnell, Morris and Cynthia Darnell, all of Cumming; father-in-law, Larry Hulsey of Suches; mother-in-law, Jane Hulsey of Dahlonega; sisters-in-law, Renita Hulsey and Neena Hulsey, both of Dahlonega; brother-in-law, Shawn Hulsey of Cumming; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 2 in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Doug Carnes, Carlton Coker, Scott Darnell and Charles Blackstock officiating.

Interment will follow at Daves Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until time of service Wednesday.

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming is in charge of the arrangements.
