Pete Shoemake

Pete Shoemake, 60, of Cumming, died, April 14, 2019.

Pete was predeceased by his mother and father Stanley and Betty Morris.

Pete was survived by his loving wife of 38 years Lisa Shoemake of Cumming.

He had two loving kids Jessica Day (Matt) of Cumming, and Sonya Brumbelow (Michael) of Dawsonville. He was also survived by his brothers and sister Robert Shoemake (Vicky) of Dawsonville; Deborah Mullikin (Roy) of Bonaire; and Russell Morris (Jeannie) of Addison, Illinois. He had one grandchild, Jake Day; various other relatives also survive.

Visitation was held from 11 a.m. to 2 pm. and from 4 to 9 p.m. on April 16 at McDonald and Son Funeral Home and Crematory.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. today at McDonald and Son Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel.

Graveside will follow the service at Sawnee View Gardens in Cumming.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests for donations be made to the Forsyth County Humane Society.

McDonald and Son Funeral Home of Cumming is in charge of the arrangements.
