Peggy Ann Pirkle, 53, of Gainesville, died Oct. 25, 2010.

Survivors include her father and mother, James and Jonell Pirkle; son, Roy Dale Knowles Jr. of Dawsonville; daughters, Stephanie and Brandon McKenzie of Gainesville, Jessica Knowles of Dawsonville, Kimberly Knowles of Yulee, Fla.; six brothers and sisters-in-law; five sisters and brothers-in-law, J.R. Pirkle of Unadela, J.D., Cheri Pirkle, Eva Jones, Janell Jones, Marie and Loyd Jones, Linda and Clifton Halsey, all of Gainesville, J.T. and Barbara Pirkle of Flowery Branch; grandchildren, Brooke Clark, Dylan Mann, Hailey Lumpkin, Ethan Knowles, Kameron McKenzie, Damien Craig, James Barker, Mathew Barker; special friends, Debbie Smith, Bo Hughes, Mike Hess, Billy Fox and many friends from Wrightsville Manor Nursing Home; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Oct. 28 at Mayfield Baptist Church in Cumming. Interment followed in the church cemetery.

Byars Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
